Welcome to Rehbar Institute of Medical Sciences

Rehbar Foundation was instituted in the year 2008 with a dream to envision the future and create professionals enabling the future to be healthier. Standing high in the midst of surrounding spread fields and making way right on the main National Highway No. 7, Rehbar Group of Institutions paves the way in the wilderness since more than three decades and is continuous on the noble task with much more.

With a dream to endeavor and make professional skill based training available to all sectors of the society, specifically girls, Dr. M S Khan (Chairman) and Dr. Mrs. Kafila Khan (Vice-Chairperson), along with the panel of medical professionals and experts, laid the foundation of Rehbar Group of Institutions, in Bhawanigarh Punjab.  They themselves being renowned medical professionals, perceived a desire to create more professionals, fulfilling the hour of need.

Dr. M S Khan and Dr. Mrs. Kafila Khan, has been courteously and diligently serving in the field of medicine and surgery since last three decades first in Rajasthan and then in Bhawanigarh Punjab. Beginning with Khan Hospital, that is treating numerous patients on daily basis.  The couple nurtured the idea to produce medical professionals, to make their services, more reachable to all communities through the students that they desired to train efficiently and equip them with all the necessary skills and trade.

To begin with Pharmacy in Ayurveda in 2008, we commenced the course of General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), along with Auxiliary Nurse and Midwifery (ANM) in the year 2009. Since then in the last one and half decade we have trained more than 5000 Nursing professionals, and pharmacists who are successfully placed in various hospitals n India and various other country. "Rehbar Group of Institutions,  a name of sustainability and consistency  in the community under  one umbrella.

Instating the structure of the college in a manner of professional and holistic approach at the same time, the management has taken care of the every need, from the training provision that connects with the real life scenario to the empathetic approach in handling the students 'matters.

The Foundation has been promoted by a group of Doctors & Educationists, who are motivated by a strong spirit of social commitment. The ultimate aim of the Foundation is to establish educational institutes to cater the drastic & challenging need of the Minority & other weaker section of society specially of this educationally backward area of Malwa region of Punjab.

Keeping in view the need of the region and to contribute for meaningful employment for girl & minority section of the society & development of Medical, Nursing & Health Education in Punjab, The Foundation has established "Rehbar Institute of Medical Sciences at Bhawanigarh". In the wake of latest technology & techniques the scenario of Medical, Nursing & Health education has changed. The education is now a blend of the principles, latest technology and practical approach. Nursing is an art as well as science for the noble cause of the society. The basic of nursing lying only in the dedicated, selfless service of the human being. The role of Nurse can't be associated only with Medical Profession; rather it is incarnate with the service of the society. Infect, Nursing has become much more critical than ever before. So, the education and practice of nursing must be based on latest scientific principals from both the physical & behavioral sciences & latest technology. Nurses must cherish their inner skills to provide quality of nursing care to patients. The institute will nurture the nursing students to equip them with latest scientific techniques & latest technology, so that they may serve the society with great sincerity, dedication.
